Gaven and his cake bowl licking ways...

Gaven LOVES to lick the cake bowls. He gladly helps in the kitchen when he knows we are making a cake. He makes me laugh everytime he does this.
Eventually...he will lick it clean....so clean I typically just put the bowl away because it is spotless (Just kidding.)

He is always a mess when he finishes. Notice the lovely chocolate on the neck and chin. One time he even got it on his ears. Honestly, how do you get it on your ears??? I guess 5 year old boys will never cease to amaze me.

Random Happenings...

Dawson checking to see if the "chalk-drawn" victim is really dead.

Madelyn at her birthday party happily telling us that she is 4....even though she is only 3....easy girl, we don't want you growing up too fast.

Madelyn riding a tire horse at Staheli Farm on a fun Preschool day.

My big girl, getting bigger by the minute.

This is something I will always remember about Gaven. When he is supposed to be going to bed, he constantly plays by wrapping up in a blanket and plays and then will fall asleep in random spots throughout the house and we always laugh when we find him. Here he is asleep in the bathroom rug with his favorite blanket that Kimberly made him and asleep with his buddies that he named "Rex the Rhino" and "Speed Racer the tiger." You are a sweet boy and we love you to pieces.

Yay Pictures!

I just down loaded 357 pictures to my computer! Talk about being behind.
Thought I would quickly blog this birthday cake that I made yesterday for
my neighbors daughter. It is a princess and the pea cake( the pea is an M&M). Everything except for the princess is edible. It was a challenge to make, but very fun to do. I was
happy with how it turned out.

Loser Blogger!!

Wow, I think that I probably win the prize for the biggest loser blogger!
I haven't blogged since OCTOBER!! The reason for the nonexistent blogging....
My life is CHAOS! I never even turn on the computer anymore. I am trying to find peace
and order in my life and blogging just seems to amp up the stress level.
I don't know that I will ever be fully back on the blogging band wagon ,but I will try to
post occasionally so that my mom knows that I am alive, and anyone else that cares.
As I said, I don't turn on the computer... so I have not downloaded pictures to post. The only ones on my computer that I have not posted already are of Madelyn's 3rd birthday back in November! Yikes!
Will try to get current pictures downloaded soon. For now.... Happy Late Birthday Blog for Madelyn! We had a Belle Party and she was in HEAVEN. I can't believe my caboose baby is 3, well almost three and a half now. She is such fun and full of spunk and energy.
She loved having her own party and can't wait for her next one. She tells me what she wants for her 4th birthday every time we walk by the toys at the store. It makes me laugh.

Thriller!

The gals and I went to see Odyssey Dance theater's production of Thriller.
This is our third year going. It is such a fun Halloween tradition.
This year we were "thrilled" to see Matt from So You Think You Can Dance perform.
Here is our picture to prove it. :)
He was great in the show. Just remember, No More Ninja masks Matt!Had such a fun time laughing and hanging out with everyone.
Love ya Kristina, Kristina, Bonnie and Bonnie.
Yes those are the real names of the ladies that I went with. I was the odd woman out. Though I did have the same middle name as Bonnie.

CONOVER Visit

We were delighted to have the Conover family come and visit with us on their way back home from Disneyland. My kids were so excited to have a sleepover with them they could hardly stand it. They have been counting the days down till their friends got here. These cute Conover boys were my boys first real friends. They live in Rock Springs where we use to live. We have missed them so much and had a great time catching up with them this week end. This is Samantha and I.
I have not seen her in 2 1/2 years and she is one of my dearest friends, so I was counting down the days as well! It was so fun to visit and laugh with her again. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your vacation to come and see us. Thank you also for spoiling us all with awesome presents. You are too generous!! We loved it all.
If we could figure out a way to move them down here we sure would!!! Wish we could see you all more often!!

What We Have Been Up To

Kevin and I went to a fun couples Halloween party. Kevin HAD to have this funny costume and this is what I came up with to match him. Not so easy to maneuver around in at a party, but worth it because we won a great prize! Thanks Mary Jane and Monica for the fun party!I took the Apple Tree Preschool to Staheli Farm for October's field trip. We had a great time riding in the wagon, riding the cow train, going to the pumpkin patch, seeing the animals and playing on all the fun slides and swings. I can't thing of a better way to spend an October afternoon than at the farm.

We went to West Valley to visit the family. While we were there we took time to see the silly witches at Gardner Village. This little outing nearly froze our warm St. George hinnies off!! It was sooooo COLD!

We also rode the new commuter train from SLC to Ogden and back. Little bit too long to be on the train with five children, but a fun adventure all the same. Gaven was in heaven, because he is going to drive this train when he grows up! We HAD to ride on the top level because the lower level is not cool, according to the kids.

Just threw this one in because it makes me laugh!

Trunker Treating

The kids were so excited to wear their costumes for the first time today!
We went to our wards trunker treating party and had a great time.Above is Gaven as..... Optimus (or as Gaven says Octopus) Prime
The most awesome Transformer EVER!
Here is Dawson as the white Power Ranger
Fighting crime and saving lives daily.

This a Madelyn as Princess Belle. Yes, we know Belle doesn't wear a mask,
but the boys have masks and so Madelyn had to have one too.

We are looking forward to the REAL trick-or-treat day.
